1ST AFRICAN RCE YOUTH VIRTUAL CONFERENCE – 2016

The conference invited RCEs to identified youths in their regions and group of panelist to participate. These participating RCEs identified administrators/members/youths interested in sharing ideas/issues of vocational and entrepreneurship development in their community/region. Participating youth groups centered their presentation on “Sustainable Technical and Vocational Training Education, Entrepreneurship and Lifelong Learning on sustainability”.

There was guest presentations on Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) by Jos Hermans, PUM Netherlands Senior Experts and European RCE Adviser, Climate Change by Dr. A. A. Okhimamhe Director West African Science Service Center on Climate change and Adapted Land use (WASCAL), Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, Lifelong Learning by Dr. Abel Atiti Barasa UNU-IAS Nairobi, Kenya and Central Bank of Nigeria – Entrepreneurship Development Center (CBN-EDC) Experience on Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative in Nigeria by Prof. Casmair Obialon Coordinator, Central Bank of Nigeria Entrepreneurship Development Center (CBN-EDC) North-Central Zone. The conference was chaired by Prof. G. N Nsofor Chairman RCE Minna Board of Research.
