Africa was formally given the honor to host the 8th Global RCE Conference during the seventh RCE Global Conference in South Korea 2012.
The 8th RCE Global conference was therefore hosted by Kenya on behalf of the African Continent.
A local Organizing Committee comprising all Kenyan RCEs and other stakeholders was thereby constituted to make it a success.
